What this means for your child

Whether or not they ever run a business, the thinking behind it will serve them for life.

Confidence and independence

They take an idea from a spark to a plan, and learn they can make things happen.

Smart money habits

They learn about costs, pricing, profits and losses, and healthy money habits, early.

Creative problem-solving

They test their ideas, adjust and keep going, just like real entrepreneurs do.

Communication skills

They learn to explain their idea, serve customers well and build trust, then practise with a pitch.

A feel for the real world

Supply and demand, target audiences and marketing stop being abstract and start making sense.

Something of their own

They finish with a brand, a marketing plan and a launch plan for a business that’s truly theirs.

Taught by someone who runs real businesses and has built a career on these skills.

Pam Lauzon, business owner and homeschool mom

Taught by a business owner who’s also a homeschool mom

Hi, I’m Pam! I’m a professional website designer, business owner and homeschool mom of two in British Columbia, Canada. I never got to learn these skills as a kid, and I know what a difference they’ve made. They made it possible for me to build a career I love and to work while homeschooling my children.

I created this class so young people can learn how ideas become businesses, with clear lessons that take them from first idea to launch.

Questions parents ask

When does the class open?

Young Entrepreneurs opens on November 23.

What age is it for?

I recommend ages 12 and up. Every child is different, so you know best whether your child is ready.

Does my child need a business idea already?

No. The first module helps them come up with an idea, then test it to see if it’s worth pursuing.

Does my child need any business experience?

None at all. The lessons start with the basics, like what an entrepreneur is, and build step by step.

What does my child need to take the course?

A free Canva account is all they need. Canva Pro is optional.

How long will we have access?

12 months from purchase, plenty of time to go at your own pace.

How many lessons should we do each week?

Your child works at their own pace. There are 6 modules and 17 lessons, so one module a week gets them to Pitch Day in about six weeks.

What is the refund policy?

You can request a refund within 30 days of purchase as long as the course hasn’t been started.

Can we use homeschool funding?

Often, yes. If a third party needs to purchase on your behalf, have them email hello@pamlauzon.com with your first and last name and email address. I’ll send them an invoice and send you an invitation to create your login.
