What this means for your child

Level Two goes beyond how to use Canva. It teaches them to think like a designer.

Designs that look intentional

Focal points, font pairing and the rule of thirds turn “good enough” into designs that look polished and thoughtful.

Critical thinking and problem-solving

They learn to look at a design, ask what’s working and what isn’t, and fix it. That’s a skill that helps well beyond design.

A portfolio of 10 finished projects

An advertisement, infographic, movie poster and more. Real work they can print, share and be proud of.

Skills that show up at school

Infographics, posters, presentations and book reports all get better when your child knows how to design them.

Reflection that builds ownership

A final self-evaluation helps them see how far they’ve come and what they want to learn next.

Confidence to keep growing

Each project they finish proves what they can do. It’s also a natural stepping stone toward our Website Design with Canva course.

Pam Lauzon, designer and homeschool mom

Taught by a designer who’s also a homeschool mom

Hi, I’m Pam! I’m a professional website designer and homeschool mom of two in British Columbia, Canada. I never got to learn these skills as a kid, and I know what a difference they’ve made. Design led to a career I love, and made it possible for me to work and homeschool my children.

I built these courses so kids can learn the skills I wish I’d had, with clear lessons and projects that let them learn by doing.

Questions parents ask

What does my child need to take the course?

A free Canva account. Canva Pro gives more options, but every lesson and assignment is designed around the free version.

Does my child have to do Level One first?

No. If they’ve finished Level One, they can move straight into Level Two. If they already have a good handle on Canva and are ready for more advanced concepts, they can skip Level One and start here.

What age is it for?

I recommend ages 10 and up. Every child is different, so choose the level that matches their current skills.

How long will we have access?

12 months from purchase, plenty of time to go at your own pace.

How many lessons should we do each week?

Your child works at their own pace. To finish in one school term, aim for at least one lesson a week and leave time for the final project.

Will my child be able to keep their designs?

Yes! Each assignment is set up so they can make a copy in their own Canva account. They can print, share and reuse them.

What is the refund policy?

You can request a refund within 30 days of purchase as long as the course hasn’t been started. If life gets in the way and your child can’t finish within the 12 months, email me and we’ll work something out.

Can we use homeschool funding?

Often, yes. If a third party needs to purchase on your behalf, have them email hello@pamlauzon.com with your first and last name and email address. I’ll send them an invoice and send you an invitation to create your login.

Is this a membership or subscription?

No. It’s a single payment of $50 CAD.

Does my child have to join the community?

No. It’s optional and only for students and parents. Students never need to share their name, photo or personal information.
